Explore the healing practice of self-love with this soft, conscious yoga session guided by Alex. This is a regular weekly opportunity to dedicate time to yourself, to discover and practise mindfulness, self-awareness, meditation and developing a more intimate and healthy relationship with your body and mind. All are welcome.
Self-love is about valuing yourself as you are, unconditionally, and this practice can support you if you are suffering from depression, an eating disorder or body dysmorphia, or if you are strongly self critical. In these classes you will journey through awareness of body, mind, spirit and heart, letting movement, contemplation and meditation support you in relinquishing ideas that limit your freedom. You will find ways to unblock the places where you get stuck, to choose a position of compassionate curiosity, rather than one of shame, criticism or denial, and to break out of the maze of constricting ideas about what is acceptable and unacceptable. Holding a torch for truth, you will rediscover your innate capacity to be moved, to flow through the landscape of the heart-mind and experience all the emotions that make up the divine play of life.
